David S. Sytsma (PhD, Princeton Theological Seminary) is an assistant professor at Tokyo Christian University and research curator of the Junius Institute for Digital Reformation Research. He has published various essays on the religious history of the early modern period. He is also a coeditor of Church and School in Early Modern Protestantism: Studies in Honor of Richard A. Muller on the Maturation of a Theological Tradition (Brill, 2013) and author of the forthcoming book, Richard Baxter and the Mechanical Philosophers (Oxford University Press).
