Tom Gantert started working in the newspaper business as a senior in high school at the Jackson (Michigan) Citizen Patriot in 1983. Since then, he’s worked at six daily newspapers. He is currently managing editor of Michigan Capitol Confidential, published by the Midland, Michigan-based Mackinac Center.
