Dr. Wayne Schmidt came to Indiana Wesleyan University as the first vice president of the newly formed Wesley Seminary at IWU in 2009. He spent his entire ministerial career at Kentwood Wesleyan Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He helped shape that ministry from its inception in 1979, and has been part of more than 10 church plants birthed by the Kentwood congregation.
