Wim Decock (PhD, University of Leuven and Roma Tre) is research professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Leuven, and an associate researcher at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History, Frankfurt am Main. He is the author of Theologians and Contract Law: The Moral Transformation of the Ius Commune (ca. 1500–1650) (Nijhoff/Brill, 2013).
