Wolfgang Musculus (1497–1563) was a significant second-generation reformer in the cities of Strasbourg, Augsburg, and Bern. He produced numerous biblical commentaries, treatises, and editions of ancient and patristic works, as well as an influential collection of theological topics, the Loci communes, or Common Places, first published in 1560.
