Amanda Oetting is Acton Institute's External Relations Consultant, Europe.
After receiving her B.A. in Political Science at Hillsdale College in 2010, she moved to Washington, D.C. to launch her career as Director of Strategic Initiatives at The Rainmakers where she raised funds for proponents of individual liberty and limited government. In 2013, Amanda became National Finance Director for Reinventing a New Direction PAC before transitioning to a new role as the National Deputy Finance Director for Rand Paul for President. Following the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, Amanda served as the National Finance Director for Rand Paul for U.S. Senate and also founded ARW Consulting, LLC. In 2017, Amanda joined Acton Institute as External Relations Officer.
In 2020, Amanda and her husband, Patrick, moved to Switzerland and Amanda transitioned to a new role as Acton's External Relations Consultant, Europe. Amanda loves spending time outdoors and is committed to teaching her two children about the Good, the True, and the Beautiful.
