Micah Machiela is a recent graduate of Calvin University, having majored in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. As a member of the Acton Institute’s 2024 Emerging Leaders class, he looks forward to serving in the role of programs & education intern. During his undergrad, he conducted research on state-level religious liberty legislation, as well as state and federal expenditures on drinking water infrastructure reform in the state of Michigan. In the future, he hopes to pursue a Master of Public Administration. During his free time, Micah enjoys hiking, getting out of town for weekend trips, and board games.
