America's Long-Term Budget Crisis and "The Call for Intergenerational Justice"
A Panel Discussion
About This Event
Here is an idea that probably is not discussed too much on Capitol Hill: evaluate fiscal reform in terms of biblical principles, specifically stewardship, prudence, and concern for the poor. That is what the leadership of Evangelicals for Social Action and the Center for Public Justice recently encouraged in an open letter to the Christian community. At this event, an "intergenerational" panel of prominent signatories will join with leaders who have criticized the letter to discuss and debate how Christians should think about government spending priorities.
