About Rev. Robert A. Sirico

Rev. Robert A. Sirico is known by many as a public intellectual. He is often in the pages of prominent newspapers or on the radio or television, being called upon for statements regarding economics, civil rights, and issues of religious concern. However few know that in addition to his leadership as president of the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids, Rev. Sirico is a parish priest, with responsibility for St. Mary's Parish in Kalamazoo. He is also the founder and leader of a new religious community in formation. Rev. Sirico received his Master of Divinity degree from the Catholic University of America, with undergraduate study at the University of Southern California and the University of London. He holds an honorary doctorate in Christian ethics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, as well as an honorary doctorate in social sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquin.
