Caleb Whitmer is the Project Manager at the Center for Social Flourishing at the Acton Institute. He graduated from Hillsdale College in 2014, majoring in English and minoring in journalism. His senior year, he was editor-in -chief of the school newspaper, The Collegian. Following graduation, he was a Pulliam Journalism Fellow at the Arizona Republic, serving as a copy editor. He worked as a reporter, editor, and photographer at several newspapers in the Midwest before spending a year teaching at Sacred Heart Academy in Grand Rapids, MI. He then worked as a communications associate for Consumers’ Research, a consumer advocacy organization in Washington, D.C., primarily working on writing and editing projects. In 2019, he joined the Thomistic Institute, where he managed its campus chapters program and digital presence, among other things. 

He hails from Gladstone, Michigan. Caleb’s wife, Morgan, is pursuing a PhD in political theory from The Catholic University of America. They have two children, Alice and Patrick. An avid runner, Caleb enjoys literature and music and aspires one day to learn the guitar.
