Grand Rapids, MI - On October 11, 500 friends and supporters of the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty will gather at Grand Rapids' Amway Grand Plaza to celebrate the think tank's eleventh anniversary. The evening will feature a keynote address from Tony Snow, a nationally syndicated political commentator and television news personality.

The Acton Institute is the only think tank in the country that works internationally to instruct religious and business leaders—of all denominations—in the moral potential of free markets. And it does so from its home base of Grand Rapids.

This black-tie event serves one of the Institute's major activities this year. In addition to the keynote address by Tony Snow, Acton Institute president Rev. Robert A. Sirico will provide his thoughts on the recent terrorist attacks and the subsequent military response.
