Harry Van Dyke holds a BA from Calvin College and a DLitt from the VU University Amsterdam. Born in Rotterdam, Holland, he moved to Canada with his parents at the age of twelve. He is a professor of history emeritus at Redeemer University College, Hamilton, Ontario.
