Responsibilities

Acton Institute reaches over 2 million people each year with our powerblog and commentaries. As a communications intern, you will have an opportunity to publish op-eds and commentaries on our popular media outlets. In addition, communications interns have an opportunity to manage our various social media platforms which boast over 2 million followers/subscribers.

Communications interns will also be responsible for developing new and tracking old metrics in order to determine impact of our media efforts.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • A strong grasp of Acton core principles
  • Editorial publication experience
  • A strong understanding of social media and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Dedicated interest in media, public relations, and marketing
