Responsibilities

Acton Institute Programs & Education department develops content for and hosts 15 – 20 events per year around the world. In total, these conferences, colloquium, and focus groups see attendance of nearly 2,000 individuals per year. As a Programs & Education intern, you will assist with content and logistical preparation as well as the tracking of key metrics to determine the impact of our many events.

In addition, you will be tasked with assisting the Programs & Education team with the development of strategies to conduct outreach to new audiences and hone strategies for outreach to current audiences.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • A strong grasp of Acton core principles
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Interested in program development and impact measurement
  • Experience with Constituent Relationship Management Databases
  • Event planning and coordination experience
