Overview

Evangelicals are one of the fastest growing segments in Latino communities and it is this group that demonstrates a high affinity to a pro-growth, free oriented agenda. Among Hispanics who affiliate with evangelical denominations, 40 percent identify as conservative against just 25 percent who identify as liberal. Past failures to garner support of market ideas has not been due to a rejection of market ideas by Latinos, but because there has been a deafening silence within the community regarding these ideas. Now is the time to create a culture of engagement and put an end to the long history of neglecting to promote the virtues of free market, pro-liberty ideas directly to the Latino communities.
